Aïeul, created by Alexia Scichili, takes its name from the french word for ancestor. Drawing from ancient cultural rituals combined with modern ethos, Aïeul transmits an anthropological perspective on scent. Inspiration is found in the ancients, forsaken archeological ruins, herbal wisdom, ancient native rituals, legends, historical movements, trailblazer artists and fragments of cultural artifacts that have shaped our collective unconscious.
