Mifuko baskets meet at the fusion of Nordic design and African handicraft. Mifuko baskets are designed by two Finnish designers and are handmade by women artisans in rural Kenya, Ghana and Tanzania. It was founded in 2009 inspired to combine modern design with traditional African handcraft and fair trade.
